Ashford Farm and Just World International renews partnership.

Ashford Farm Renewing Partnership for a Second Year
JustWorld International is thrilled to announce that Ashford Farm will be renewing their partnership for a second year, sponsoring the doctor's salary at People Improvement Organization (PIO), JustWorld's partner in Cambodia.
JustWorld has supported PIO, located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, since 2004. The organization offers services such as an official school curriculum for Kindergarten to Sixth grade students, a nutrition program, health and hy
giene care, dance, as well as vocational training.
PIO also offers medical care through their school health clinic. As part of their first year of commitment, Ashford Farm funded the salary of Dr. Vuthy. Dr. Vuthy was working at PIO as an intern during the course of his medical studies and when the previous school nurse left to take up further training overseas, he applied for the position of school physician. He has now graduated and received his official certification. Having a doctor now instead of a nurse means that the range of treatments has extended and the quality of care improved. On average, Dr. Vuthy treats 300 children per month. Because children can be treated at school, they are less likely to spend time out of the classroom due to illness or injury.
Ashford Farm, located in northern Belgium, is one of Europe's most successful trading stables. Under the guidance of Irish-born managing director, Enda Carroll, Ashford Farm offers world-class facilities for horses and riders.
The discussion about a partnership between JustWorld and Ashford Farm began two years ago at the CSI*** Liege in Belgium where JustWorld Ambassador Laura Mathy ran events to raise funds and awareness for the organization. Carroll was the winning bidder of a pony named Nidge, auctioned off to benefit JustWorld, and talk amongst the team began about supporting the non-profit. Carroll shared, "When first learning about JustWorld, I immediately knew it was something I personally wanted to be involved in. From the outside looking in, it is very apparent the volume of work done and differences in lives they have made already. They are continuing to grow and develop, helping more individuals, and without support from people like us, none of this is possible."
Not only is Ashford Farm partnering with JustWorld, but all of Ashford Farm's riders and owners will become Ambassadors for the organization.  Angelica Augustsson from Sweden and Marlon Zanotelli from Brazilstand stand behind the non-profit and have already become Ambassadors. Each promised to donate a portion of their prize money to JustWorld and help raise awareness of the cause to everyone in their surroundings. Ashford Farm's two new riders, Stefanie Van Den Brink from the Netherlands and Dominic Webb from Great Britain, are also excited to become involved with the organization and are looking forward to riding for the cause.
Reflecting on Ashford Farm's first year of partnership, Carroll explained, "Seeing all that Jessica and the JustWorld team have done in a year is enlightening. Our team is delighted and proud to be Ambassadors of JustWorld." Carroll plans to visit another project, Los Patojos, in Guatemala this upcoming fall. "I am looking forward to seeing how it all works, how the development of JustWorld has helped these people so positively, to experience a new culture and basically, see how Ashford Farm's support is helping less privileged people."
Ashford Farm is proud to stand beside JustWorld and PIO as they continue to strive to change the lives of hundreds of students. To learn more about JustWorld International and PIO, please visit
